Tai Ping Hou Kui Tea, also known as Peaceful Monkey Leader and Monkey King Green, is an exceptional green tea produced from a large leaf camelia found only in the Anhui Province of China. The leaves can be up to 15cm long. In 2004 the tea was awarded the prestigious title in China of 'King of Teas'. It is also known as 'two knives and one pole' because there are two straight leaves clasping a large bud that is imbued with many white hairs. The deep green leaves produce a delicious light and elegant cup. It is a connoisseur tea.

Brewing Advice | 3g of tea per cup (approximately 25 'knives & pole'). Add hot but not boiling water (85ºC). Infuse for two minutes. Suitable for multiple infusions. |
