This wonderful Darjeeling comes from the renowned Margaret's Hope tea garden in Darjeeling - known as the 'Land of White Orchids'. This special reserve tea has an exceptionally high number of golden tips and has been offered to Char as an exquisite 1st Flush Darjeeling. The taste is gentle with that special floral first flush aroma. Perfect taken in the afternoon.
The distinctive flavour of Darjeeling arises from an unusual combination of high mountains, steep terrain, well drained soil and misty swirling clouds. Add the extreme cold in the winter and intense heat in the summer and the end result is the exquisite muscatel character and flowery aroma of good Darjeeling.
